One of the reasons why I haven't been very active on DA lately, is because I haven't been drawing a lot... No, I've been Photoshopping, making avatars, wallpapers and stuff like that...
Obviously, I did make some resources for that and I'll try to post some of those on DA in the future.
So here is my first pattern set. Very VERY simple patterns, but they come in handy so often!
And I made it in Adobe Photoshop 7.0... Ah well, enjoy!
I don't fully understand what to use it for... do you use this to make the avatars with (I could see that coming in handy at some times), or do you use 'em to rasterize pictures? I know they open in photoshop and where they show up, but I'm curious what you use 'em for and how.
Oh, and there's a thing I'm designing (for a new story) that needs some reviewing and much improvement. I'll put it up tonight, since I have to go to work. You can criticize it then . I think it's your kind of cake.
I don't think I'll post it on DA, cause most of the stuff I make are Harry Potter avatars/wallpapers etc. and it's not something to be put up on DA. But here are a couple of links to some of my (older) work in which I used those patterns... [link] [link] [link]
Ah, okay, so that's how you did that... nice . *holds up the chocolatecake* anyway, if you want this delicious chocolate-cake, please make your way to my scraps section and take a look at that note-blade thingie I made, and tell me what you think. Heck, look at everything I put in there, it's for a new story, and there's a you-based character too (you can't miss it, she wears green ^^). After that, I'll see to it that this chocolate-cake is delivered to your house for your enjoyment.
Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
DeviantArt is full of extremely well produced artistic fashion and fine art photographs. Make up. Styling. Creation of scenery. Story. Light. Glamour. A combination of these expressions sometimes make up a great photograph. But the protagonists of these pictures are usually female.
So... now it's the time for male models to come into focus.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

(Old avatars, I know...)
I think simple patterns like that look best in huge wallpapers, just as a simple overlay or something. But you can really use them in anything.
